Child pushes my child off of Playground Equipment and now has a broken arm, are his parents responsible?

At recess at school my child and 2 other children was playing, she was on a ladder trying to climb up and a boy pushed her by her face and she fell 4 1/2 ft and broke her arm. Should his parents be responsible for the hospital bills?
BTW: the boy is 7 who pushed my daughter and the school hasn’t done anything to him.
I am not really worried about suing, I just know that if the role was reversed and my daughter pushed a child off of playground equipment then I would have least offered to pay for the medical attention. The other parents haven’t even called to check in on her.

If the other children or a recess monitor can verify that the boy was the one who pushed her, I think it is right that his parents should be paying the hospital bills for your daughter. Hopefully this child will be punished appropriately for this as well.
