I have met a few people with cerebal palsy and at first was amazed at how able they are, it might sound really offish but the stigma of the condition for me has always been that it was a very severe condition that affected people both mentally and physically and as I have a cousin with severe cerebal palsy I just asumed that all people with it were the same way as she is, how ignorant of me to think that though as now Ive met a few more people with it I now know there are very different strains to it and my cousins case is a very severe case, others I have met with the condition have all been very bright and capable people .....its amazing hte different things we asume in life without actually looking into them and understanding its the whole stereo type thing
