i had an emergency section with my daughter olivia due to failure to progress after induction. it went absolutely fine for me. i was up and about the day after and out of hospital after 3 nights. i had several days rest, then started to do things around the house altho nothing strenuous, my scar has healed well.

i am also sure that the section caused a slight 'overhang' Shocked

im in debate with myself over whether or not to have a planned section next time around or whether to experience a natural birth ( i am very curious and would love to experience one, my fiance on the other hand is not so keen Rolling Eyes )

Wow hun sounds like you had a awful time. I have only had one so can only go on this experience. I was ok, they didnt have to cut me nor did l rip. However Daniyah was 8 days late, and when she came out her hand was next to her face so l got some grazes inside me. I had to have 3 stitches, and l was soo scared of peeing. I didnt think it would be that bad, but my god it was agonising peeing. Infact l was quite silly really, as when l got home l didnt drink properly and was soo exhausted (had lots of problems breast feeding), Daniyah would be onthe breast for 4 hours and still not satisfied. When l mentioned this to the GP and Midwife they said that is normal, so hence l wasnt eating or dirnking properly and whenever Daniyah was sleeping so was l.
2 weeks after giving birth l was in soo much pain peeing l went to emergency surgery on a saturday at 10pm, and they told me l had a urine infection due to a lack of fluids. I would advise all mums to drink lots. Doctoer prescribed me anti biotics, and whenever l had to go and pee l was peeing in a plastic cup. It was terrible! Sad

Exactly..we go through soo much. Hence thats why am not in no hurry to have another child. Not till Daniyah is about 3 or so.
Towards the end of my pregnancy my iron levels were low an all, and it was terrible.

How dod you mean your body wont take it? x Ohh if only kids knew what us women had to go through. A girl at work said to me she loved being pregnant and l was like 'which part did you enjoy?' l mean you're restricted in doing things physically you get tired, in th first three months you're being very careful and everyone just seem's to off you food almost like your only purpose is to eat, eat and eat.
